If a zombie slams on it, open the door and deal with him (or them). Instead of a ‘zombie-luring-cactus trap’, just make a door and that’s all. We always put something in front of our door to keep all the monsters out. When you are in your small house and you look out the window you should only see 1 torch covered in SCARY DARKNESS. You should actually make a rule to have only about 4 in you possession. Small houses make the world your boss again.
Big houses make us too comfy and feel way too safe.
The fear of what’s around you was intense and it created a buzz that was enjoyable. One of the things that comes to mind first is the fear we had when playing our first map. This won’t work for some people but give it a try! And it’s not a scientific discovery, it’s just a guide from a regular tree puncher. This won’t give you a 100% success at it but its close. Its a small guide about things you can do to get that “Feeling” back when you first started playing minecraft.
